Glasgow, and Hauser also surround the cities, all comprising the
Coos Bay Region, or Oregon's Bay Area.
The
City of Coos Bay
is the largest of these cities with a current population of
16,000.
It includes the communities of old town Marshfield, Empire and
Eastside.
The
City of North Bend with the magnificent McCullough
Bridge, is located at the north bend of the Coos Bay channel, hence
its name. It has a population of 10,000.
